Cleared to climb 8000 feet direct VPG / TA / VBA for Subang, it took us a little over an hour to fly the flight path at 150knots! Blazzzinnggg through the clouds.. mmmm…. loving the Cirrus and its glass cockpit baby! Did an ILS approach into Subang Runway 15. Yeah!

Dennis DeWitt had to do some aerial work and asked if I could be his pilot. The mission involved sky’ing over Melaka Town. Going from KL to Melaka was really busy as the traffic was crazy so I didn’t take any videos however on the way back, Jimmy the useless video guy took some videos using my camera. This is what I could salvage. Thanks anyway Jimmy! A pleasure. Peace!

This video is only meant for aspiring pilots and aviation enthusiasts. Its the experience from the jumpseat during an initial approach then finals & roll-out into Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Jumpseats are often reserved for student pilots. I learned a lot and am now more inspired to kick-ass this 2009!

Jumpseat on the Airbus A330 from WIII to WMKK (thats CGK-KUL), thats Jakarta Airport to KLIA. Hehe. This video shows how the Airbus operates. You will now have experienced both the Boeing and the Airbus taking off! Next video is the landing into KLIA. Enjoy!

As an Airline Transport Student Pilot, we are often given access to the flight deck to gain experience. These are called “observation flights”, and are meant to be an eye-opener. For me, these are great motivators to study harder! Enjoy my eyes, as we take off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Jakarta.
