Its good to be back home in Kuala Lumpur. I must admit that I do miss my friends back on the Gold Coast, but I have to do what I have to do right? On my observation flight back post completing my flight training on the Gold Coast, Capt Mohd R and Capt Hans were doing an auto-land into Kuala Lumpur. Conditions were VMC. Can’t wait to do one myself soon! Hehe.
I am BACK in Kuala Lumpur! Ready to get to it eh! Got to get my Malaysian Medical Class 1 renewed on Friday, then go report in to the DCA and AirAsia for “whats next!” early next week. Here is a video taken in-flight en-route from the Gold Coast to Kuala Lumpur. We saw some traffic, skimmed at FL400 (thats 40,000 feet) and I even made my first radio call on an airliner as Xanadu 2703 to Singapore Approach. Woohoo!
Thanks to Capt. Hans for picking me up from the Gold Coast to take me home post completing my flight training. Here is the line-up and take-off role at the Gold Coast Airport for a Runway 32 departure (RADAR).
Capt. Hans flew me back himself on the A330 and well, I spent most of the flight being “interviewed” for the job! Questions after Questions… thank god I could actually answer most of it, minus the nerves of course! But man, SO much more to learn!
